Dumb Angel co-editor Brian Chidester will present the Hermosa Beach section of his Los Angeles beatnik slideshow, and debut sections of his forthcoming book The Beat Generation in Los Angeles (Arcadia Publishing) at an event that features a bevy of quality speakers. From Beat historian Dr. Colin Campbell's overview of the local poetry scene to former Insomniac Cafe proprietor Bob Hare's reminiscence of the times and faces, this event promises to be a memorable night about the power of the bohemian idealogy in our culture.
