BEATNIK BEACH RADIO SHOW
Brian Chidester debuted his radion show, Beatnik Beach, on Luxuriamusic.com.
Beatnik Beach airs every Sunday morning from 10 AM to 12 PM (Pacific Coast Time). The show is an audio odyssey into the cool jazz, poetry, folk and bongo music from the Greater Los Angeles area during the 1950s and early '60s. Brian Chidester is also the creator (with Domenic Priore) of the "Beatnik Beach" slideshow program, a chronicle of the Beat Generation in Southern California (art, literature, music). A documentary based on this slideshow is in the works.
